The ADGMA Research Centre focuses on applied based research outcomes via collaboration with three key stakeholders: Regulators, Policymakers, and Academic institutions. The core pillars of the Research Centre are Innovation, Development, and Analytics with three key strategic outcomes in mind which are publications, local capacity building, and intellectual property creation.
Given ADGM’s position as a leading international financial centre, we are driven by the passion to develop future-focused solutions to enhance the financial ecosystem and support the economic development of the region supported by data driven decisions.

My mission is to bring academic insight and new perspectives into the financial sector.
With more than 35 years working in Toronto, Boston, London and now Abu Dhabi, I understand the challenges and opportunities facing financial services. As a committed evangelist for education, I foster collaborations that unite the latest academic research with financial services in the pursuit of a more secure, transparent, and automated industry.
The ADGM Academy Research Centre brings together an ecosystem of industry and academic experts to unlock the shared potential to improve the financial environment in MENA and beyond.

Through applied academic research, the ADGMA Research Centre provides knowledge and solutions to the financial sector locally and within the MENA region. Our mission is to be the single research platform working in collaboration with the financial sector, government, and academia to address current and future challenges, and provide fit-for-purpose academic-backed knowledge and solutions.
After several years of working on the government learning and development needs and national employability agenda, I understand the importance of innovation, which represents a key element of our research programme.
With the focus on AI & Machine Learning, Big Data & Analytics, Digital Transformation, FinTech, and Cyber Security, ADGM Academy is accelerating its efforts in the form of research contributing towards building both the regional financial sector and its human capital.
