The emphasis is on understanding why a company may make a suitable candidate for a leveraged transaction and how to analyse the situation to estimate likely debt capacity and the returns to investors that might be expected. Excel will be used extensively to assess transaction parameters and learn how to put together well-designed valuation and deal models. Showing participants how to spot opportunities in these areas will be embedded throughout the course.
