22-24 January 2024 | Venue: ADGM, Abu Dhabi
Quantum Computing is the new disrupting technology, on a journey that will potentially force us to revise all our computational systems, from data encryption to machine learning algorithms to optimisation and simulation. While such a full-scale disruption is a long-term view, several success stories have recently shown that some computations can only be performed using quantum computers, as their classical counterparts quickly run out of memory.
Finance, and in particular quantitative finance, relies on computational power at all levels including the safeguarding of customer privacy, computing risk measures for compliance purposes, portfolio optimisation, derivatives pricing and hedging. It is therefore natural that the impact of quantum computing in finance has become a central question when looking at the future of finance.
This conference will bring together leading experts from finance, quantum technology and academia with the aim of clarifying the current state of quantum computing and to outline the short, medium and long-term prospects of this new tool for the financial industry.
ADIA Lab, Imperial College London, Nanyang Technological University and ADGM Academy Research Centre are proud to partner together for this conference to establish a new technological path for the future of quantum computing in finance, from theory to practice.
Register now. We look forward to seeing you there!
