  • Description:

    This programme is designed as an intermediate course for participants who may have some prior knowledge of the international trade finance business. It provides a robust look at trade finance services offered by a bank at an intermediate level. Day one will focus on why exporters should look to overseas markets and why banks offer trade finance services, an assessment of the risks associated with exporting and importing, the documents of international trade, the terms of delivery and payment methods. Day two will focus on trade finance solutions including documentary collections, financing products associated with documentary collections, letters of credit and variants (bonds and guarantees);.
