- Description:
The deluge of regulation of banks that followed the global financial crisis, in particular Basel III, has profoundly challenged bank’s ability to deliver adequate returns on equity to their shareholders and by extension their business models. The BAU of yesterday is not the BAU of today nor will it be that of tomorrow. This advanced level programme aims to better equip the participant firstly with a holistic understanding of how banks are valued and secondly how this valuation has been impacted by the current regulatory and market environment. In so doing it will provide an enlightened understanding of the rationale of strategic objectives set by senior leadership as they pursue optimal returns for shareholders.
